Why did I receive my RRIF (Registered Retirement Income Fund) payment early in September?

To ensure there is no impact to your RRIF payment during our conversion, your September payment was/will be deposited September 11th. The normal payment schedule will resume in October.                           

Please note: this change is only applicable to certain RRIF accounts and will not affect all RRIF accounts.

Will the Noventis Rewards rebates be be affected by the conversion?

The Noventis Rewards rebate will continue as usual, however, after the conversion you will see your monthly rebate deposited to your chequing account instead of a cash back account. 

I used to have a transfer set up under the Save It Up feature, but it isn't working anymore. Why?

This feature has been discontinued. If you would like to set up a similar transfer each month, please contact your local branch. 

I currently use the CAFT system to process payroll. Will this be affected during conversion weekend?

Essentially, the CAFT transactions will not be effected by our banking system conversion. All debits and credits will be processed as usual.

 

If the recipient of a CAFT deposit (such as payroll) is a Noventis member account, and is scheduled for September 14 or 15, this deposit will process on Monday, Sept 16th and will be accessible at the same time our banking services are restored. 

Will my pre-authorized withdrawals or deposits be affected by the conversion?

We don't anticipate pre-authorized withdrawals or deposits to be affected. However, if your transaction does not process accordingly, please contact your local branch.  

How can I view my account activity from Sept 1-13 after the conversion, and before the statement is ready?

If you require a record of your account activity during the period of September 1st to 13th, you will need to print these records prior to September 13th. 

Will I need to re-enter all of my bill payees  (such as credit cards, utilities, etc) on online banking after the conversion?

No, all of this information will transfer over to the new system.

Will wires be affected at all by the conversion?

No, all wires which come in through the weekend will be processed as per usual on Monday.

I did not receive a letter in the mail. Why?

The member letters were mailed out by August 23, 2019. If you did not receive your letter, then you are in the right place. Please click here to see a sample of the letter.

During conversion weekend, will I be able to use SMS text messaging to view the balance on my account?

No. During conversion weekend, ALL Noventis banking services will be interrupted. This includes the SMS text messaging service. This service will be unavailable until September 23rd.

During conversion weekend, will I be able to receive alerts on my account?

No. During conversion weekend, ALL Noventis banking services will be interrupted. This includes the alerts service. This service will be unavailable until September 23rd *.

I have the alerts service but I’d like to change the conditions which define the alerts I receive. How can I do that?

To change the set up features of the alert service on your account, please visit your local branch any time after September 23rd.
